The Garden
Out now, ‘The Garden’ is a collection of music that is written and dedicated to my parents. For each of the 10 pieces, I imagined their lives, both together and apart. With me, without me, with others, alone and very much together. A whole lifetime of memories, thoughts, dreams and experiences. In these pieces they are children again. They grow up, discover the magic the world has to offer but also have to endure the pain that life and death can bring too. It was a very cathartic journey for me to take, both musically and personally. I hope now it is completed and available for the world to hear, it may inspire, help, comfort or encourage others. Finally, as part of the promotional campaign before the launch of the album, I wrote some thoughts, poems and ideas for 8 out of the 10 tracks and shared online. You can view below.
